Model files in the NEURON simulation environment (v8.0.0) from the paper:

"T-type Ca 2+ and persistent Na + currents synergistically elevate ventral, not dorsal, entorhinal cortical stellate cell excitability. ”

Auto-launch from ModelDB or:

Compile the mod files with mknrndll (mswin or graphical mac) or nrnivmodl (unix/linux)). Start the simulation by (unix/linux) typing on the command line:

nrngui mosinit.hoc

or (mac os x) drag and dropping the mosinit.hoc file on the nrngui icon or (mswin) double clicking on the mosinit.hoc file.

mosinit.hoc will reproduce the simulated traces in Fig.5 of the paper.

Click on buttons "50pA", "100pA", "200pA", "250pA" to run the simulations at different current injection in all the conditions:

- Control (black line)

- No CaT (red line)

- No NaP (blue line)

- No CaT + No NaP (green line)
