Midbrain torus semicircularis neuron model (Aumentado-Armstrong et al. 2015)

This paper investigates how midbrain electrosensory neurons give invariant responses to natural communication stimuli. A model explains that such invariance can be achieved by combining afferent input from ON and OFF cells.

Model Type: Neuron or other electrically excitable cell

Cell Type(s): Abstract single compartment conductance based cell

Currents: I T low threshold; I K; I h; I Sodium

Model Concept(s): Action Potentials

Simulation Environment: MATLAB
