Dichotomy of action-potential backpropagation in CA1 pyramidal neuron dendrites (Golding et al 2001)

Examines the anatomical and biophysical factors that account for the fact that retrograde invasion of spikes into the apical dendritic tree past 300 um succeeds in some CA1 pyramidal neurons but fails in others.
